Low Level Laser Therapy

Low Level Laser Therapy

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) or Photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) is the application of red and near infra-red light for therapeutic purposes.

  • It improves wound and soft tissue healing, reduces inflammation and provides relief for both acute and chronic pain.
  • It is used to increase the speed, quality and tensile strength of tissue repair
  • It can be used as a substitute to acupuncture where invasive treatments are not tolerated or are contraindicated.

Laser or high intensity LEDs produce red and near infrared light (600nm-1000nm) commonly used in LLLT. The intensity of LLLT lasers and LED’s is not high like a surgical laser so there is no heating effect.

Testimonials

Oreo sadly had an awful accident on 21st January which meant he lost all use of his back legs. We were all heart broken...

And here is Oreo today. We could not be happier with the results. It's a long road but Hannah is brilliant.
